Original tranny crapped the bed at 164,000 miles yesterday. Need to find something to replace it quick, Im looking at Mustangs right now but I kinda want to keep a truck. If you could keep a lookout on your local Craigslist for some rides around 2000 I'd appreciate it guys. I just need a beater to get me around while Im in school and dont feel like driving the FB.

Go for an 67-72 Chevy truck. They're easy to work on, you can go several different directions with them or just keep them stock, and you can find them all day for a decent price. And for 2 g's you should be able to find one in pretty decent shape. Plus it's a real truck not a plastic toy dressed up to look like a truck......
